Sons-a-bitches.....

Some dipshits tried to break into our bus...AT THE GAME!! Plus they managed to steal some chairs and a cooler from one of our buddies truck. We found the a-holes and confronted them. In doing so, we got our cooler and chairs back, but the problem boiled around for a bit. In the end, we left, only to have the drunk fuckers call the cops on us. So, Brad walked the tight rope, pointed at his nose and had his eyes checked, only to have the cop say; "Well, I've got one more test for ya." Bastard.

Brad then got to test his lungs, at which he did a stupendous job. He scored a .067 on a nearly infinite scale. Just like golf, the lower the better, Brad passed quite well.

The cop wanted to make sure that we got to see some of the shopping available in Ames, as he suggested a trip thru K-Mart for us. We were much abliged.

Up and Running...

The bus has been operating quite nicely since the brakes have been repaired (knock on wood). The clones have been running wild also, with wins over Iowa and Army the last few weeks.

Saturday's game should be a good one as we go up against a unranked Nebraska team for the first time since like 1989 or something.

GO CLONES!! Beat some Husker ass.

Go Clones!!!!!!!

ISU v. Iowa - The annual grude match. Last year was even closer than the 17-10 score showed, as ISU missed several FG attempts, and Iowa lost it's tailback.

This year should be just as exciting and even more fun since it's in Ames at Jack Trice.

We are anticipating an early start, lots open at 8:30, we are planning on leaving at 6-ish. Call for a seat on the bus.

Go State!!!!!!!

We're off to see the Cyclones!

The inagural voyage of the bus is tomorrow! We will be heading to Ames for the 1st game of the season vs. the Illinois State Redbirds.

Last night on the news it was announced that Stevie Hicks is a preseason candidate for the Doak Walker award!

Call Brad for a departure time. I would assume our ETA would be 12:00, the kick-off is at 6:00.

Stereo...........

I refuse to believe you killed my stereo...bastards. We did have a similar problem when we first installed it. Maybe, just maybe,it can be remedied.

A little bird told me that Brad did most of (think all) the work this past weekend. Any rebuttle fella's?

The daughter saying is good. I know we need to add: "ALL THE FUN OF COLLEGE. NONE OF THE EDUCATION." That is the movie quote from Old School.

I will get the Eustachy "stop sign" finished also. Getting that to work may take some work. If we do ever get it done we can add the saying "Honk to see Larry" or soemthing to that effect.

Any other ideas?

Message Relay....from Scotty too Hotty

We also have "Team Old School" stenciled on the front. The guy who did it also had a great idea for a phrase on the back of the bus: "Don't Laugh. Your Daughter's in the Back." or something like that. A truly tasteless, immature phrase that's perfectly suited to the bus.

It would be nice if we could add some actual artwork to the bus. Maybe we should bring the paint to the games to kill some free time during the daylong boozefest? It would be pretty interesting to see what goes on the bus.

Finally, if anyone has a cheap spare car stereo to donate, but sure and bring it. Otherwise, I've found some really cheap ones online:

Discount Car Stereo's #1
Discount Car Stereo's #2

And of course, there's always ebay:

Weak Ambitions.....

WE DID A LITTLE OVER THE WEEKEND.. WE HAVE THE HOLES CUT FOR MOUNTING THE SPEAKERS IN THE BACK, BUT THE STEREO CRAPPED OUT ON US… WE REARRANGED THE FURNITURE A BIT… GAVE IT A LITTLE MORE ROOM… FIXED A COUPLE OF BROKEDN WIRES ON THE ALTERNATOR… DRANK SOME BEER, AND OH YEA… BOUGHT A GENERATOR ON SUNDAY… $215 BUCKS SO WE HAVE JUICE NOW TO POWER ANYTHING… 4400 WATTS.

THAT IS ALL. CARRY ON.

Relayed message....

Ok fellas… the time has come for those of you that haven’t coughed up the cash to do so. Robb, Chris, Will, Lou, and myself have paid for the year allowing me to set up a checking account so we can actually keep a little better track of the money. After last year we pretty much broke even, so when all the money is collected and the bills paid we should have about $600 left over to do with what we want. If you have any ideas let me know.

Anyway this year we have a new owner. Will Drewry joined the crew. He is one of my neighbors and a huge clone fan that likes his booze… just ask Robb. Davey and I went down today and took the batteries out to charge them and check on the overall status of the bus. She looks pretty good. The paint that we did last year hasn’t faded like last year. It appears that we once again had no rodents make any problems. The batteries still have a decent charge and will be ready to roll. I have had it out and running… it ran really well so at least we have that going for us. Other than that we need to schedule a work day to do some more painting (words or pictures), change the oil (it appears to use a little… its low but not empty), and possibly put some new plug wires on her. Let me know if anyone has any specific weekends they might be interested in.

If anyone has questions or comments let one of us (Brad-Robb) know. Actually if you let one of us know, the other will too. Hmmmmm...weird isn't it.

Send the check to Brad.
